I've been an artist for as long as I remember. I started to carry a sketchbook with me when I was 10 years old, and since then there has hardly been a day when I've stepped out the door without one by my side. Because of that my artwork encounters all aspects of my life, but it tends to be most influenced by my outlook on life that we should always be learning. My goal in life is to be an art teacher for younger students. In that aspect if I am not constantly learning, trying, and failing at my own works of art I feel as though I can not relate to those I am teaching.

 

I try to expand my use of media whenever it's possible. My list of artworks expands from simple graphite, to murals, printmaking, paper making, airbrush, props, digital works, and more. It's always a learning process for me and my artwork reflects that.
